Stacie Colbert
HEAD OF SALES
FOOD PATRONUS | Biscuits and gravy. Warm, welcoming, and unpretentious.
ROOTS | An East Texas native, I spent my early years immersed in dance and theatre. When I wasn't on a formal stage I was writing and peforming plays or hosting backyard recitals for the neighbors. Creating memorable experiences and connecting with people has always come naturally, a passion that ultimately led me to hospitality.
SMARTS | I studied Sociology at UT Tyler, where I developed a fascination with human behavior, relationships, and the ways people connect. Those lessons continue to shape my leadership style and approach to sales today.
BODY OF WORK | With more than 26 years of sales and leadership experience, and the last two decades in hospitality, I have built a career around creating meaningful partnerships, developing high-performing teams, and driving results.
Since joining New Waterloo in 2015, I have had the privilege of leading sales strategy across a portfolio of distinctive hotels and venues. My focus is simple: build exceptional teams, cultivate lasting client relationships, and create experiences that guests remember long after they leave.
HOSPITALITY PHILOSOPHY | Hospitality isn't transactional, it's a feeling. The most meaningful experiences begin by listening with intention, understanding what matters most, and then exceeding expectations in ways that feel effortless.
FAVE THING ABOUT NW | The people. Smart, passionate, creative professionals who care deeply about what they do and aren't afraid to have fun while doing it.
SUPER POWER | Speed-reading, empathy, and the art of a well-timed party trick.
