FOOD PATRONUS | I would be a potato because I love them, but also because they are versatile + can be salty.

EARLY DAYS | I started my life in Golden, CO, and moved to Austin when I turned 10. During my youth, I lived the "suite life," as my mom worked at a boutique hotel and I spent my sick days from school watching tv in the guest rooms. I began my career in hospitality once I moved to Texas, working in the concession stand at my local swimming pool.

EDUCATION | I love film and television more than almost anything, so I studied film at the University of Colorado - Boulder and had a brief stint in commercial production after graduation. The promise of air conditioning during spicy Austin summers led me to pursue an indoor career in social media marketing.

BACKGROUND CHECK | While occasionally pouring at a family friend’s wine bar, I honed my hospitality + digital marketing skills doing web design, email marketing, and social media for the brand. I started my own marketing company pre-covid, but the appeal of consistent health insurance led me to interview with and get hired by a larger marketing firm. There, I worked as a Senior Social Media Manager until moving to London for a year. Upon returning to the States with my now husband (my "souvenir"), I interviewed with New Waterloo, and the rest as they say, is history!

I've been working with New Waterloo since April 2024, so we're still in the honeymoon phase. I love my role as Senior Brand Manager for our 'standalone' properties, Il Brutto, Sway Aspen + Austin, La Condesa, Butler Pitch & Putt, and coming soon, Hai Si. Working with the unique personalities at each property and discovering how to best help everyone, especially our guests, is my favorite part of the job.

WHY I LOVE NW | I swear I'm not being paid to say this, but my favorite thing about New Waterloo are the people. (and the food, of course)
