Originally from Austin, Clair has worked in the service industry since she was 15. She moved to New York to attend school and took on a job at Milk Bar, the sister bakery of the Momofuku Restaurants. There, she was given the opportunity to analyze their data to forecast sales and reduce waste. This opportunity led to an internship for the office, where she learned about costing, distribution, and operations. After graduation, Clair served as accountant at Sweetleaf, a coffee shop in Long Island City, while simultaneously working for a bookkeeping firm. Clair has since returned to her hometown and joined the New Waterloo team as Senior Accountant. Beyond the office, she has a penchant for thrift shopping, sitcoms, and woodworking. Clair’s spirit food is Thai curry.
