Crystal has been hooked on hospitality since her first job hosting at a local restaurant in her hometown in northern Georgia. College was a long endeavor, attending both Georgia Institute of Technology and then North Georgia College & State University, as restaurant jobs serving and bartending were always a little more fun. Crystal was captaining events at age 23 at Montaluce Winery in the Appalachian foothills. Shortly after, she honed her fine dining experience at Bacchanalia in Atlanta, while working the pastry counter in the mornings at Star Provisions (which is still her favorite job to this day). In her first formal management position, she worked with Michelin stared La Toque’s Chef Ken Frank as Assistant General Manager of his all-day concept. After two years in Napa Valley, the need for resort experience took Crystal to Silverado Resort, where she was Food and Beverage Manager over five Food and Beverage outlets. The draw of a young a lively city brought Crystal to Austin two years later, where she was the opening General Manager of Arlo Grey at The LINE Hotel. Crystal joined the New Waterloo team in 2018 as Operations Coordinator. Her spirit food is coconut curry.
