New Waterloo oversaw development of 1417 South 1st Street from an abandoned tobacco shop and two additional lots of undeveloped land along Bouldin Creek into a 1-acre freestanding restaurant site that now houses Sway restaurant.

New Waterloo oversaw the design, development and construction of the 83-room South Congress Hotel on an abandoned site that had remained undeveloped for the last 70 years in the middle of one of the country’s most sought after retail and dining streets. The hotel project also includes 5 retail shops, three restaurants and an underground parking garage.

New Waterloo is co-developer of The Arnold, a mixed-use project on 4.1 acres on Austin’s East Side, featuring 346 luxury apartments, 95,000 square feet of office to be occupied by Austin’s C3 Presents and 9,600 square feet of street level retail, including two new restaurant projects from New Waterloo.
